Club Scrap Literature Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap Literature Blog hop! If you arrived here from Julie's Blog you are in the right place. If you lost your way or would like to return to Club Scrap just head HERE.

Recently I have been spending a lot of my crafting time trying to get my scrap room cleaned and organized. While cleaning I found a mini canvas album project that was included in the Hopes kit back in 2013. I decided to finally put it together but decided to use my Literature kit papers and stamps.

This is a great little project using two small canvas for the covers. It is the perfect size for a brag book or for wallet size photos. I am planning to use mine for my book club to keep track of the books we have read.

I just love this month's color palette. These colors will work with so many different themes. The possibilities are endless.

I just love the the little window and it was the perfect size for my favorite quote from the Literature kit!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. You next stop on the hop is Tina's blog and don't forget to return to Club Scrap and link up your Literature creation for a chance to win a prize.

Club Scrap October Artist Team Challenge

I found this the other day and Facebook and it spoke to me. See I am absolutely on the left. I love everything about the holidays. I love the decorations, the food, the holiday movies. My family can not wait for the first seasonal viewing of the movie ELF. We have a daily family text with the ELF quote of the day and of course we count down the days until Christmas!

While scouring Pinterest for gift ideas I came across this awesome Christmas Countdown Calendar. I knew immediately I wanted to recreate one for us and to also a few to send to my nieces and nephews. She used the ever popular IKEA Tolsby frame. Sadly there is no IKEA close to me but I found some similar frames a while back in Michael's.

I used my all time favorite Club Scrap kit Gnome for the Holidays! It was the Christmas kit released back in 2013.I started by cutting out some different shaped tags; some on the Pazzle and some by hand. I also used the Pazzle to cut the numbers and some of the inside shapes.

I decorated each flag individual using the beautiful patterned papers, the stamps and the cut aparts from the kit.

I also used bling, glitter and various embellishments from my stash.

If you are planning on making one for yourself or as a gift I will let you know that I needed to use 2.5 inch rings to hold all the banners and to give enough space for them too turn. I am so excited with my project I am not sure how I am going to wait for December.

Thanks for stopping by today. Your next stop on the hop is Roni's Blog and don't forget to head back to the Club Scrap Blog and share your gift creations!
