Club Scrap Boatancials Blog Hop

For me Spring brings sun, flowers and numerous birthdays. I just love the pastel colors in this kit and decided to make cards for all the spring/summer birthdays in my family.

For these first cards I used a sheet of  paper from the Pattern Basic Paper Pack Pastels. It matched the lavender in Botanicals perfectly. I used ribbon from the embellishment pack.

These next cards were inspired from a pin on the Club Scrap Botanicals mood board. I just loved the contrast of the yellow paper, the Botanicals stamps in black ink and then the white flowers heat embossed.

For my last two cards I hand colored the Botanicals flower stamp with my Pitt Big Brush markers. I have become totally obsessed with them. I love the effect you get from them and the ability to layer colors.

So bring on the Birthdays! I am ready to go!
I hope you enjoyed my cards.
Next stop on the hop is Deb at Liftbridge Cards and Crafts.

"Pinspiration" Challenge

The April Club Scrap Artist Challenge was to create a project using
inspiration from the Club Scrap Botanical's Mood Board on Pinterest. A Mood Board is a great way to inspire your creative side. You can check out the Club Scrap Pinterest board  here and you can check out my Pinterest board here.
For the challenge I picked this pin:
Found on Card Care Connection's Facebook page
I really liked it's simplicity and the botanicals stamps worked perfectly.

I used my Pitt Big Brush markers to color in the stamps.

The wonderful patterned papers in the kit really made recreating the design effortless.

These cards came together rather quickly and now I have a stock of Birthday cards ready to go when I need them. Come play along with the Artist Team and find your Pinspiration!

Wishing You a Wonderfully Creative Day!
XOXO
