Club Scrap Boardwalk Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap Boardwalk Blog Hop. If you arrived here from blog you are in the right place. If you lost your way and would like to return to Club Scrap and start from the beginning go HERE.

I found this really cute waterfall folio on Pinterest and thought it would look super cute with this month's Boardwalk kit. After all the years of album making and bookbinding with Club Scrap the folio came together pretty quickly.

It is a perfect project for a brag book, Birthday album, Graduation album. Makes a great gift. The waterfall on the right side has space for over 20 pictures and the left side pocket can hold extra pictures, tags or memorabilia. You could even add a second waterfall on the left hand side to hold more pictures.

I decided I would  use this one to create a mini album of pictures from Catie's Sweet 16 last summer. She loves Ariel from the Little Mermaid so we had an "Under the Sea" theme party. The Boardwalk collection would work well. Check back later in the week for the decorated album.

Next stop on the hop is Tina Blog. Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to play along via the linky party over at Club Scrap for a chance to win a Club Scrap gift certificate.

Club Scrap June Artist Team Challenge

Welcome to the artist team challenge. If you arrived here from Tina's blog, you are in the right place. If you lost your way or want to return to Club Scrap go HERE.

Our challenge this month was to incorporate the Club Scrap Hypno papers into our projects. There are three different paper packs all with bold graphics on kraft text weight paper. This paper is perfect for all types of paper crafting.

I love the masculine feel of these papers and with Father's Day and numerous birthdays I decided to focus on cards.

I used the Hypno paper for the background and then cut random circles from my stash of Club Scrap paper. I used the Happy Birthday and circle stamps from Boardwalk to decorate the orange circle.

Thanks for stopping by today.Your next stop on the hop is Roni's blog. You can pick up your own set of Hypno papers HERE and they are currently on sale so grab them quick because they won't last long!

Lovin' the Crabs!

I come from a long line of fishermen. My dad, uncles and brothers all love to fish. I grew up down on the Jersey Shore and every year we would go crabbing. We would spend the day out on the water in these small rental boats. We would catch crabs not only with traps but with lines. We would drop a line with fish on the end and patiently wait for a nibble, then slowly pull up the line so as not to knock the crab off. These are some of my favorite childhood memories of my father and brothers.
So naturally, I was beyond excited when I saw this month's Club Scrap Boardwalk kit with the crab stamps and adorable crab charms. I could not wait to play!

I got the idea for this card from Pinterest. I stamped  the tiny crab from the  Boardwalk Jumbo Unmounted Stamps in Club Scrap ruby ink and then carefully cut them out. I took a white panel and drew lines with a fine tip sharpie. I used Ranger black enamel to make the dots and added some red rhinestones from my stash.

Isn't he just too cute. You can check out the whole Boardwalk Collection HERE

Club Scrap June Card Sketch Challenge

This month's Club Scrap Boardwalk collection makes me so HAPPY! Everything about this kit screams summer. The cute retro bathing suits, the beach umbrella, ice cream and my personal favorite the adorable crabs.

I could not wait to start playing with this kit. I started out making this birthday card for the Club Scrap monthly Card Sketch Challenge.

Isn't that crab just the cutest?  He is just lovin' that ice cream. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of this little fella and his ice cream!
