Club Scrap February Artist Team Challenge

Welcome to the Club Scrap Artist team Challenge. If you arrived here from Tina's Blog you are in the right place. You can always return to the beginning of the hop via the Club Scrap Blog.

Our challenge this month was to use Alpha Stencils that were originally released at the 2016 Club Scrap Retreat. There were two sets released an Uppercase Alphabet and Lowercase Alphabet.

I decided to use the stencils to start an "ABC" book for our recent Disney trip. This was my youngest son's first time at Disney and he was all about Stitch. So although a little out of order I started with my S page.

The layout was created with paper from the January Club Scrap Color Me Happy Kit. The colors were perfect for these pictures. I used the amazing silver pen that was also included in that kit.

Hop on over to Roni's Blog and see what she created with her stencils and then head to the Club Scrap store where you can pick up your very own set of stencils currently on SALE!

Club Scrap Succulents Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap Succulents Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Julie's Blog, you are in the right place. If you have lost your way or would like to return to the Club Scrap Blog go HERE.

I am truly loving this month's Succulents kit. I especially love all the rubber stamps and so much fun playing with them. I especially loved the large flower stamp and used it to create cards for this month's hop.

For all of the cards I stamped the large flower with Club Scrap Watermark Ink and then used gold glittered embossing powder. I just love how they came out.

I used elements from the Greeting to Go kit and the Digital kit to finish off the cards.  I just love the versatility of the Club Scrap items.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, Your next stop on the hop is Tina's Blog and do NOT forget to head back to the Club Scrap Blog and link up your own Succulents creation!

Club Scrap January Artist Team Challenge

Welcome to the January Artist Team Challenge. If you arrived here from Tina's Blog, you are in the right place. If at any time you lose your way or would like to return to the Club Scrap Blog just go HERE.

Since the January 2017 Color Me Happy kit was inspired by batik designs and artwork, this month's challenge was to create a project that features batik or faux batik techniques.

Karen, over at Club Scrap posted a tutorial earlier in the month explaining a faux batik technique. You can find it HERE.

I decided I wanted to create a 12x12 layout using the faux batik technique on my base page. I used the sun stamp from the January Color Me Happy Art Nouveau Unmounted Stamps. I stamped the imaged repeatedly with my  Club Scrap Watermark Ink Pad. I then covered the images with clear embossing powder and heat set. I applied Club Scrap Hybrid Ink in Ash, Moss, Tangerine and Topez. I then ironed my page to remove the embossing powder. Here are the results....

This is one of the pictures from my daughters senior portraits. I just love everything about it. I chose inks that complimented the shades in the picture.

I used a cut out and these really cool metallic dot stickers both from the Color Me Happy Embellishment Pack included in the Deluxe kit. The silver hearts were from my stash.

Your next stop on the hop is Roni's Blog. You can return to the Club Scrap Blog HERE.

After you finish the hop don't forget to give the technique a try and link up your creation over at the Club Scrap Blog.
