Club Scrap May Artist Team Challenge

Welcome to my little corner of the world. If you arrived here from Tina's blog you are in the right place. If you have lost your way you can return to Club Scrap HERE.

This month we were challenged to use metal or faux metal in our projects. I was inspired by this project I found on Pinterest. I wanted to make one as a gift card holder for my nephew's birthday. I new the creative license kit would be perfect for the project since my nephew loves cars.

Although the tutorial calls for craft paper to make the box, I decided to use the solid mustard color from the kit. I also made my own coin size envelopes with the other solid papers from the Creative Lincese kit.

I incorporated metal in a number of different ways. I used metal tape to decorate the license plate cut out, to create a tag with my nephews's initial and to embellish some of the envelopes.

I used metal cog wheel embellishments from Club Scrap to embellish an envelope.

I stamped the cute key stamp on the Club Scrap silver paper. I love how they look strung together.

I also used my faux patina papers from this month's Technique challenge to create tags and embellish my project.

Thanks for stopping by today. Your next stop is Roni over at Ink Stains.

Club Scrap Creative License Blog Hop

Welcome to the Creative License Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Julie's Blog you are in the right place. If you have lost your way, you can return to Club Scrap HERE and start from the beginning.

I was so excited for this month's Creative License kit. I was thrilled for a more masculine theme and color palette. My favorite has to be the license plate stamp that can be customized with the matching alphabet stamps.

I made this layout for the the Sketch-n-Scrap challenge. It was only natural to use this kit for pictures of Catie passing her driving test. She just passed her road teat in April so this kit could not have come at a better time. I just love the cute little car and key charms included in the embellishment pack!

I also created a number of cards this month for different challenge blogs.

This card is for the monthly Club Scrap May card sketch challenge. Sketch challenges are a great way to find inspiration and motivation. I think I will use this sketch ALOT. So many ways to change it up. Click the link above to see all the entries and come play along!

I created this Birthday card for the AAA CAS card challenge. They are celebrating their 2nd Birthday with a blog hop and lots of prizes!

This last card I created is for the CAS(E) this Sketch! #173.

I just love the simplicity of this sketch. The Hello from the Creative License Greetings Unmounted stamps worked perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by today! Your next stop on the hop is Tina's Blog. You can check out all the Creative License goodness HERE.
